Quality Assurance Inspector Job at Human Resources, Inc.-Mt. Vernon WA
Hiring for the following shifts:
Monday-Friday
8:00-5:00pm
Monday-Friday
3:00pm-12:00am
*Some Saturday work may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
· Perform the following:
o QA/Process line monitoring, corrective actions and continuous GMP Inspection
o Verification of the different inspection points
o Product sampling, micro/qualitative testing to include review of results and releasing products.
o Post/pre-operational sanitation inspection.
o Monitoring swabs after sanitation inspection.
o GMP assessment in the processing line
· Maintain boot wash stations, chemical dispensing systems and chemical cage inventory.
· Assist in label check and approval
· Receiving raw ingredients
· Assist in production as needed.
Desired Experience and Skills:
· Experience in food processing environment (1 – 3 years)
· Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, SQF, or other GFSI schemes
· Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds.
· Some computer knowledge – basic word and excel
· Background in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field a plus
This position will be a full-time position with limited overtime.
Starts at $17.50 per hour (DOE)
