Job Summary
We are looking for an expert who will coordinate and drive quality assurance within the production centre. Perform analysis and propose actions to reduce losses and be a quality driver.
This position is based in Winsted, MN
You might be traveling 25% of your time
What you will do
- Support and drive ISO 9001 requirements to ensure compliance with Tetra Pak OCC
- Plan ISO 9001 audit schedule and ensure quality audits are effective
- Lead the quality organization during third party and internal audits
- Drive root cause analysis and investigations on quality losses (internal non-conformities, Technical Issues and claims) and engage stakeholders to address supplier non-conformities and design issues (engineering)
- Actively support the quality pillar to promote corporate quality policy and assist production teams with insights and deployments to enable autonomous work on quality issues
- Implement and coordinate preventative action efforts to prevent complex technical problems.
We believe you have
Bachelor of Science in Engineering or a Technical post-secondary education or 3-5 years’ working experience within quality from the manufacturing industry preferably in the food industry. You have experience in World Class Manufacturing basic toolkit (single event analysis, 12 step Kaizens, 5W2H, 5WHY etc) and have preferably lead pillar activities. Experience in Quality Pillar is a plus. Your English skills are excellent, written, as well as spoken.
For this position you need to be a strong informal leader, able to influence and engage individuals, teams, and organizations. You enjoy collaboration and have the ability to manage stakeholders across geographies and organizational boundaries. It is important that you are comfortable to work on your own in an independent way.
