Position: Quality Supervisor

Summary of Function:
The position is responsible for supervising quality and operational activities for the Attleboro, MA location including quality assurance, product testing and recording, compliance with specifications, standards/certifications, and other operational supervisory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct Required Quality Functions
• Work with sales and operational team to develop/maintain specifications including PTR (Trials) and operational specifications.
• Work with Scheduling to ensure a proper Bill of Materials exists for all items.
• Conduct machine side and lab setting test for product conformance verification.
• Conduct lab testing on incoming raw materials and communicate conformance with inventory control and corporate purchasing.
• Maintain product testing lab in an organized, clean, and functional manner to facilitate a productive environment.
• Execute multiple daily production line audits – recording setting and recipe conformance as well as machine side product testing to assure quality.
• Manage Critical Quality Measurement Tools
• Manage all recipes and conformance of on-line gauging system
• Manage Quality and Operational reports and certifications
• Compiled and summary weekly and monthly quality data – assuring quality performance of the production period. Manage third party certification processes for product quality – assure program is up to date with proper documentation of all requirements.
• Provide Operational Supervision
• Supervise production operations during hours when operations manager is not present including personnel scheduling issues, production issues, monitoring safety practices, monitoring shipping & receiving.
• Daily reporting to Operations Manager with feedback on quality, efficiency, waste, and safety during period when Operations Manager is not present

Requirements:

• Familiarity with manufacturing environments and the quality assurance process
• Experience with managing and developing personnel, including disciplinary
• Experience with ERP computer systems a plus
• Candidates must be hands-on and active on the production floor
• Strong analytical skills, computer skills, and math skills
• Must be proficient in all Microsoft office applications
• College degree or equivalent industry experience preferred
