Quality Control Job at Apex Roofing & Restoration
Apex Roofing and Restoration is looking for a qualified, seasoned construction quality control manager candidate to join our industry-leading roofing production team.
The Production Quality Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day tasks for multiple projects in our various southeast markets. This person will ensure that the construction process and materials meet contract requirements as well as company standards, through project oversight, 100% customer satisfaction, and documentation.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Primary Liaison between homeowners, production managers, and contractors. Coordinate with the Apex Production Manager, office staff, and other quality control inspectors when necessary.
- Ensure all work performed complies with the plans, specifications, local codes, and requirements of the scope of work.
- Direct market-based Quality Control managers in handling quality control issues with job sites in the southeast.
- Address any production issues that may come up to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.
- Post permits before work commences
- Maintain accurate records of all job activities
- Complete a final walkthrough with each homeowner to ensure satisfaction
Qualifications
- Construction experience required; roofing industry preferred
- Highly organized, motivated, self-starter, and problem solver
- Strong communications – temperament to deal with our customers work quality issues
- Experience in quality control- field production coordination
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy, with strong follow up and follow through.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
