Quality Control Job at RDP Development
Position Summary: The Quality Control Operator will use measuring and test equipment to conduct tests, perform inspections and/or to measure parts/products in Quality Control Department and accurately and legibly record results as applicable.
Responsibilities:
· Test, inspect, and/or measure parts/products for conformance to specifications.
· Record results for conducted tests, performed inspections, and/or measured parts/products.
· Maintain Quality Control Department records, reports, logs and other documentation as required in an accurate and detailed manner.
· Assist with maintenance of measuring and test equipment in Quality Control Department.
· Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Perform activities in accordance with the specified requirements and procedures.
- Complete directions in an accurate, thorough and detailed manner.
Qualifications and Skills:
· Ability to write and communicate in English (required).
· Good interpersonal skills.
· General ability to apply mathematical concepts of addition, subtraction, fractions, and decimals.
· General knowledge in using measuring equipment, such as micrometers, calipers, gage blocks/pins, optical comparators, torque meters, and various electrical test equipment (preferred).
· Some understanding of complex engineering drawings, knowledge in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (preferred).
· Capable of using a computer and operating menu driven software (required).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
