Quality Control Technician Night Shift Job at PPG Industries

Night Shift - 10:30pm - 7:00am
Salary: $45,000 plus $1.00 shift differential
As a QC Technician at the Elverson Plant you will be responsible for conducting routine analyses and tests of various components of a quality control program.
Key Responsibilities
- Under direct supervision conduct analysis and tests of raw materials, in-process materials and finished products to ensure conformity to specifications in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work within scheduled deadlines
- Prepare samples to submit to the Quality Control Laboratory for analysis
- Ability to communicate any process anomalies or variations
- Ability to develop personally and professionally through work experience and by acquisition of new skills
Qualifications
- Practical research/laboratory work experience is preferred
- Must be able to work 3rd shift 10:30pm – 7:00am
