Crystal Steel Fabricators, Inc. (CSF) is seeking a highly skilled Quality Director to lead the development and implementation of the company's quality management system at our Federalsburg, Maryland location. As the Quality Director, you will be responsible for setting quality goals and objectives, developing and implementing strategies to achieve them. You will also be responsible for leading the development and implementation of quality policies and procedures, ensuring that all products and services meet relevant quality standards and regulations. (Occasional travel will be required to other company locations: Delmar, Delaware; Memphis, Tennessee; and, Hatfield, Pennsylvania.)

Responsibilities

• Oversee the quality assurance and control processes, including inspections, testing, and auditing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Analyze quality data and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the quality team, including coaching and training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, quality management, or business administration.
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience in a quality management or leadership role.
• Industry-specific certifications related to welding and protective coating.
• Demonstrated understanding and commitment to safety.
• Knowledge of AWS D1.1, D1.5 & D1.8, SSPC specifications.
• Knowledge of American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) audits and standards.
