Job description
Quality Engineer
- Auditing of suppliers (system and process)
- Development of suppliers on-site
- Support VA/VE activities
- Corrective and preventative action review and follow up
- Provide input to keep Common Vendor System in CPAST up to date
- Maintain a corporate supplier reporting/rating system (SQTS-SRS)
- Facilitate the supplier escalation process
- Communicate and align activities between Corporate SQA and plant SQA
- Support maintenance of the Supplier Requirements Manual
- Interaction with the commodity and advanced buyers
- Support programs with SQA (APQP-PPAP) activities using GDLS disciplines Supplier Launch Readiness Reviews
Supplier APQP verification
On-site witness of capacity verifications
On-site supplier PPAP validation
Education:
- BS/BA required
Experience:
- Requires 1-3 years
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Requires general supervision
- Supervises under general guidance
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
