Quality Specialist-Lot Manager
Huntington, IN
Position Purpose:
This position will be responsible for collaborating with the Operations and Sales Teams to ensure that Big Iron quality standards are met and will guide sellers to understand the online auction process. You will help improve and maintain quality listings for all equipment and machinery for our Indiana location.
Essential Functions:

- Provides support for the Quality Team, Sales Team and Listings Department in performing quality checks and corrections.
- Works with District Managers, Territory Managers, and ISR’s (Independent Sales Representatives) regarding listing quality.
- Conducts pre-auction quality assessments in accordance with Company quality standards.
- Contributes to the definition and evaluation of checklists and software built to support the setup process.
- Provides both online and field training as needed to support the use of the Companies’ processes and technology.
- Ensures sales representatives follow expectations, for both quality and completeness.
- Reviews completed listings to ensure Quality Standards are met and where necessary correct deficiencies.
- Work with Quality Assurance to ensure that setup crews are meeting Quality and Listing requirements.
- Participates in the Companies’ continued education efforts to ensure up-to-date compliance with Company and industry policies and procedures.
- Lead / Manager Consignment Auctions at the Indiana Location to assure Quality expectations are met for day of sale.
- Maintain and Manage the lot and building location in Indiana.
- Willingly completes other duties and takes on special projects as assigned or as necessary.
- 3 plus years of related agricultural and/or equipment fields.
- Maintain valid Driver’s License
- CDL License is a Plus
- Forklift / Large Equipment Handling is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, and other applications used by the Company.
- Experience in customer service (internally and externally) and community engagement.
- Ability to coach, lead, manage, and instruct/train employees and contractors.
- Works with Minimal Supervision
