JOB DESCRIPTION:
Our Radiology Medical Assistant I is responsible for basic clinical duties needed in preparing a patient for a Radiology procedure. Some of these duties may include:
  • Escorting patients to the exam rooms
  • Going over the forms with patient, helping them fill out the forms, and answer questions that come up
  • Send images electronically
  • Cleaning and preparing the exam rooms
  • Provide emotional support to patients
  • Helping patients change as needed
  • Training would be provided to start IV's
Our team is expected to work collaboratively with the clinical and support services teams to assure efficient and effective operations in the department while maintain confidentiality of all patients’ records, medical treatment and diagnosis and abiding by the policies and procedures of the department.
EDUCATION:
High school graduate with good interpersonal and computer skills.
EXPERIENCE:
No experience required, 1-3 years experience in a medical office setting is preferred.
