At Sylvan Learning of Cranford, we have an opening for a Elementary --- > Middle -- > High School level teacher to coach students in need of Writing & Reading support:
At Sylvan, we have a really fun, productive work environment. We offer instruction to students in grades PK-12, including SAT/ACT prep and college essay writing. Our work is designed around improving their skills, confidence and motivation by individualizing instruction delivered by excellent teachers, and supported by a passionate team that is dedicated to achieving success – one student at a time.
Essential Job Functions:
- Prepares for each instructional session; Gathers and prepares materials as guided by center administration
- Greets students and initiates instruction to personally engage
- Evaluates and records the progress of each student on their program assignment
- Communicates specific student needs to Center staff
Requirements:
- State teaching certification
- Evening (hours are below)
- A love of helping students to reach their goals without administrative and scheduling responsibilities!
Our center is open the following days & times:
Monday - Thursday: 3pm-8pm and Saturday: 9am to 1pm
