Receiving and Inventory Associate Job at NEP Group
The purpose of this position is to function as a centralized point of receiving and inventory control for NEP Systems Integration. The Receiving and Inventory Associate will perform all necessary receiving and shipping activities to meet the requirements of the Systems Integration team, NEP, and clients, while upholding the NEP Core Values.
- Receive daily deliveries (FedEx, UPS, freight, etc.). Forklift operation required.
- Follow established procedures for receiving deliveries, both physically and electronically.
- Follow established procedures for bar coding equipment and entering information into NEP’s Equipment Database system.
- Maintain organized inventory in specified areas while seeking ways to improve organization.
- Take an active role in observing daily operations, events, and activities to be aware of necessary shipments to expedite or coordinating of efforts.
- Determine proper disposition for deliveries that arrive with inadequate information.
- Maintain a clean and presentable workspace.
- Assist with properly storing equipment and materials in specified areas for inventory control.
- Assist with loading and unloading of inbound and outbound broadcast equipment.
- Assist with general shop cleanliness, and trash/recycling removal.
- Stay informed of logistics trends and practices.
- Monitor regulatory changes regarding Dangerous Goods, particularly Lithium-Ion Batteries
- Participate in and support all shop activities as needed.
