Receptionist Job at Benchmark Senior Living/Meadow Ridge
Meadow Ridge is the premier life care retirement community in Fairfield County, located on 136 acres in beautiful Redding, Connecticut.
In this unique and enriching environment, we offer Independent and Assisted Living apartment homes, as well as a skilled Health Center where we provide our residents with quality care and services.
Current schedule needs are:
- Friday 8:15a- 3 pm
- Per Diem to cover open shifts, absences and vacations
Job Summary:
The Receptionist is responsible for answering and transferring all incoming communication calls in a prompt, courteous and professional manner, giving information, direction and other appropriate assistance to residents, staff, guests and vendors and performing a variety of clerical duties as assigned. The receptionist is essential to creating an outstanding first impression and coordinating the smooth flow of communication throughout the community. The Receptionist functions as a liaison for Meadow Ridge ensuring residents’ needs are met and/or directed to the appropriate personnel.
Job Requirements:
Excellent Customer Service Skills; Strong problem solving skills and ability to identify problems to evaluate conflict resolutions for a positive outcome.
· Good decision making ability and judgment skills.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present information and respond to questions from all levels of staff as well as residents, visitors, vendors and the public.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.25 per hour
