The receptionist should have strong attitude; the ability to multi-task; and exceptional interpersonal skills (including active listening and inductive reasoning skills and remaining open to ideas and learning new things).

Your essential job functions will include:

  • Answering phone calls in a healthcare setting.
  • Receive customer inquiries via telephone, email, mail and provide the information requested or refer to the proper department to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Forwards information by receiving and distributing communications to the proper departments and collecting and mailing correspondence to ensure efficiency.

Required Minimum Qualifications and Desired Proficiencies:

  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
  • Healthcare experience preferred.
  • Positive Attitude.
  • Interact with Staff in a positive way.
  • Maintain a high level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to multi-task.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills are required.
  • Must be able to work well under pressure at times.
  • Must be self-motivated, a quick learner, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Education, Licensure, Certification, and Registration Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

Required Physical Demands:

  • Perceptive acuity and physical ability to perform all direct and indirect workplace functions including walking, sitting, standing, bending and light lifting is required.

Schedule:

Monday 1pm-5:30pm

Tuesday 1pm-5:30pm

Wednesday 9am-5pm (optional)

Thursday 9am-1pm

Friday 9am-1pm

Part-time: 17-25 hours.
