Full Circle is seeking a Recertification Specialist (RS) to oversee all aspects related to the recertification process for up to four properties within the region. The position reports to the Community Manager and/or General Manager.
The RS is responsible for a wide range of activities related to determining and documenting applicant and/or participant eligibility, income, rent and our contractual obligations with ensuring that all recertifications are completed in a timely manner with a commitment to quality and service for our residents, staff and communities that we serve.
Specific duties and responsibilities of the RS include:

  • Completes annual recertifications within required time frames following the FCC protocol
  • Completes interim recertification and unit transfers as required
  • Conducts applicant and participant briefings and interviews, completing recertification forms completely and accurately
  • Follow program guidelines to determine participant’s rent
  • Educate participant on program requirements and family obligations
  • Process all transactions within required systems
  • Maintains files in a safe and secure environment following FCC security policy and requirements
  • May assist with rent collection and lease enforcement
  • May assist to draft general notices to residents
  • Assists the Community Manager and/or General Manager in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, and priorities
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:*

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of affordable housing and tax credit programs policies and procedures
  • Tax credit certification (required within 120 days of employment)
  • High degree of initiative and independence
  • Interpersonal, customer service, organizational and written/verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prepare clear, concise, thorough, meaningful, and grammatically correct written reports, letters, memos, and other written documents
  • Capacity to work well and with a high degree of accuracy in a busy environment with frequent interruptions and changing priorities
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable vehicle

Compensation & Benefits:*
This position offers and hourly range of $18.00 - $20.00. Compensation and benefits are competitive and commensurate with experience. Benefits include health, dental, vision, IRA, life and supplemental insurance, paid parental leave and more. Relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates.
