Summary Description
Responsible for balancing general ledger accounts (Federal Reserve account, Due from Bank accounts, settlement accounts, etc.), deposit and loan applications and various other accounts.
Essential Functions
- Reconcilements: on a daily basis, balance appropriate general ledgers to SilverLake system by Branch type (DDA, Savings, Loans, etc.)
- Adjustments: on a daily basis, research item(s) to determine error and then make corresponding adjustment(s) to customer’s account and/or Federal Reserve
- Federal Reserve: on a daily basis, balance cash letters, ACHs, wire transfers, adjustments, etc. that are cleared through the Federal Reserve statement to the general ledger
- Due from Banks: on a daily basis, balance statements received to corresponding general ledger accounts
- Cash Book: on a daily basis, balance teller drawers to proof work and work with branches to recover any outages
- Order and sell foreign currency for customers and foreign check collection for customers
- Responds to queries from branch personnel
- Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 6-12 months general banking experience preferred
- Accounting experience helpful
- Work is generally performed indoors in environmentally controlled conditions
- Typically, the employee may sit to perform the work. However, there may be some standing, walking and lifting up to 25 pounds

- Ability to use Microsoft Office products
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
