Are you passionate about advocating for, and working alongside individuals living with a mental illness and / or substance use disorder; and helping them reach their recovery goals? If so, look no further than Goodwill! We are hiring for a full-time Recovery Specialist in Grand Island!
The primary responsibility of the Recovery Specialist position is to provide case management and service coordination within Day Services programming.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WOULD:
- Develop and track the progress of individualized treatment plans.
- Facilitate psycho-educational classes for participants.
- Link participants with needed services within their community to meet basic / crisis needs that arise.
- Provide therapeutic support and interventions.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE:
Demonstrated skills and competencies in treatment of individuals with a behavioral health diagnosis, demonstrated by at least one of the following: two years lived experience; two years’ direct care experience in a human service field; two years of training in a human service field; or a bachelor’s degree or higher in psychology, sociology, or related human service field, which is preferred.
