Recovery Specialist Job at Valley Vista
Job Description:
Valley Vista is seeking caring and motivated Recovery Specialists at our Bradford facility, for all shifts. This position will help patients have a positive and successful recovery by ensuring the patient understands his/her responsibilities in the program and giving guidance when needed.
Job Duties:
- Facilitate groups, support patients in making positive changes, and de-escalate situations.
- Provides day to day oversight of patient activities.
- Provide support in patient recovery, model healthy behavior, and provide a safe environment for individuals to grow and heal.
- Transport patients for admission, discharge, medical appointment, etc.
- Provide orientation to new patients and check in personal property.
- Attend shift change report meetings.
- Assist in client discharge process.
- Chart interaction with patients and observations made in patient's record.
Job Requirements:
- Valid driver's license
- A minimum of two years freedom from chemical abuse problems.
