POSITION SUMMARY

The Recruiting Sourcer will assist in DVM recruiting by sourcing passive candidates. This includes a focus on passive sources including AVMA, LinkedIn, Conference lists, and former DVM candidates. The end goal of this position is to source the candidates and then pass them to the DVM recruiters.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Partner with Recruiting in hiring doctors for our practices based on replacement and growth

Establish relationships with passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter Lite, AVMA, and conference lists

Organize sourcing strategies and other industry platforms

Utilize social medial and other networking platforms to build candidate pipeline

Ensure company staffing needs are filled in a timely manner, and that the company maintains a robust pipeline of qualified candidates

Maintain a pipeline of candidates and manage them through existing Applicant Tracking System (ATS)

Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)

At minimum 2-3 years of prior high level Veterinary recruiting experience preferred or experience in the Veterinary industry

Advanced Microsoft Office skills

Prior ATS and data analytics experience

Must be able to work in a fast paced and dynamic work environment

Strong sourcing skills

Excellent presentation, communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills

Effective judgment, confidentiality, sensitivity and creativity to changing needs and situations

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

The physical activity of this position includes:

  • Climbing. Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms. Body agility is emphasized. This factor is important if the amount and kind of climbing required exceeds that required for ordinary locomotion.

  • Walking. Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another.
  • Pushing. Using upper extremities to press against something with steady force in order to thrust forward, downward or outward.
  • Pulling. Using upper extremities to exert force in order to draw, haul or tug objects in a sustained motion.
  • Lifting. Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position-to-position. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires substantial use of upper extremities and back muscles.
  • Fingering. Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with the whole hand as in handling.
  • Grasping. Applying pressure to an object with the fingers and palm.
  • Feeling. Perceiving attributes of objects, such as size, shape, temperature or texture by touching with skin, particularly that of fingertips.
  • Talking. Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly.
  • Hearing. Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make the discriminations in sound.
  • Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.

The physical requirements of this position are:

  • Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work.

The visual acuity requirements including color, depth perception and field vision are:

  • The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication parts at distances close to the eyes.

The conditions the worker will be subject to in this position are:

  • The worker is subject to environmental conditions. Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
