The Recruitment Coordinator is responsible to facilitate the movement of candidates through the recruitment process. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, detail orientation, and a candidate who is process and data driven.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Strategically develop a recruitment strategy to best source candidates per agency needs.
- Maintain a candidate pool and utilize conventional and non-conventional recruitment methods, including post job ads, attend job fairs and open houses, etc.
- Screen resumes, interview candidates, send onboarding paperwork, and follow up with candidates.
- Follow DOH guidelines in ensuring compliance, including but not limited to processing EVRs, CHRC requests, medical documentation, review monthly sanction reports etc.
- Act as a courteous liaison between the candidate and the company and to ensure the ultimate candidate experience.
- Schedule New Hires for Orientation, as well as schedule employees for the annual OSHA trainings.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate and employee files
- Conducts I9 verification and process new hires in HHA Exchange
- Assist with other tasks and projects as needed.
- Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to use Microsoft products
- Capability of effective planning and priority setting.
- Excellent communication and organization skills.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
- 2-3 years of prior Recruitment or Human Resources experience.
