Reporting to the Director of Boat Club Operations, the Regional Manager of Boat Club Operations assumes responsibility for the overall success of a group of boat clubs across a group of marinas including managing the day-to-day operations of the boat clubs, delivering excellent customer service, manage financial performance, and identifying new opportunities to introduce boat clubs. Effective Regional Managers are skilled in managing diverse operations. They have a strategic mindset and are excellent leaders. Expert abilities in financial and operational planning are also essential for the role. The goal is to ensure our boat clubs will exceed our clients and customers expectations through successful talent management, service delivery, and financial performance.

  • Leads daily boat club operations which includes hiring teammates, ensuring safety focus environment and providing excellent customer service
  • Partners with Talent Acquisition on professional development efforts within the market and participates in local networking and hiring events to continually seek new talent
  • Maintains regular contact with team to ensure staffing needs are properly forecasted and staffing availability is being optimized
  • Manages the hiring process for all teammates including interviewing, onboarding and on-the-job training.
  • Ensures compliance of key HR initiatives including required training and certifications
  • Fosters team culture and engagement at both the management and individual site level
  • Optimizes and oversees operations to ensure efficiency and delivery upon brand standards for customer service excellence
  • Evaluates performance using key metrics and holds team accountable to success
  • Performs regular quality assurance audits and site visits at each boat club
  • Monitors social media accounts, reviews, and surveys, and acts as needed
  • Takes efforts to expand awareness of opportunities for additional boat club operations in local markets to strengthen community relationships.
  • Understands and utilizes all Oasis systems including point-of-sale systems, revenue journals, and forecasts
  • Reviews financial data of each boat club regularly to ensure reporting is accurate
  • Undertakes sound financial management to ensure boat club are profitable and stay within budget
  • Develops action plans to control expenses or drive additional revenue
  • Ensures weekly and monthly financial reporting deadlines are met for all locations
  • Understands and reviews P&L statements and general ledgers
  • Identifies and ensures all locations are compliant with applicable safety measures, certifications, environmental regulations, and other state, local, or industry-specific requirements
  • Ensures all operating equipment is in proper working condition
  • Orders safety equipment to properly protect teammates and customers
  • Ensures proper safety signage is clearly visible at all necessary locations
  • Builds and maintains direct relationships with ownership and/or managing interests at each marina
  • Conducts schedules monthly meetings with clients to seek feedback and share results
  • Maintains strict confidentiality with regards to client information
  • Strides to develop client promotors who can assist in growth of Oasis portfolio
  • Partners with business development team to identify and pursue any opportunities for expanded services or new opportunities

Education, Work Experience Requirements and/or Competencies:

  • History of results as Area Manager, District Manager, General manager, Facility manager or similar leadership role overseeing other managers
  • Sound understanding of optimization of customer service operations and standards for success
  • Strong adaptability and scheduling flexibility (including weekends and some holidays)
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
  • Strong business acumen with a strategic orientation
  • Experience in managing high-value and/or demanding clients
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel
  • Exceptional financial acumen with experience in forecasting, building budgets, expense controls, and revenue reconciliation.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
  • BS/BA in business administration and 5 years of related experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
