We are hiring a Regional Nurse to join our Massachusetts team!

The Regional Nurse (Registered Nurse) is an integral member of Athena Health Care Systems’ Clinical support team. The right candidate will have direct responsibility of clinical oversight and support for assigned centers in a designated region, including:

• Providing in-service education.
• Assist with recruitment/retention.
• Facility preparation for OBRA Surveys, support and leadership during surveys, and development of Plans of Correction.
• Review key performance indicators over threshold.
• Assisting in implementation and overseeing all established policies and procedures/reviews system weekly meetings and minutes.
• Assisting facilities with plans of correction or action plans.
• Medical Record Audits.
• Monitoring resident care through observation, chart review, QI monitoring.
• Orientation and training of leadership personnel.

The Regional Nurse also provides leadership and mentoring to their assigned centers’ Directors of Nursing Services and other managers to assist them in growing in their roles.

REQUIREMENTS:
Registered Nurse with Skilled Nursing Facility experience required. Minimum of three (3) year’s experience in a management capacity in long term healthcare (e.g., Director of Nursing Services). Must have demonstrated capabilities for management, clinical skills and decision making, and supervising along with demonstrated leadership qualities. Must have thorough knowledge of all local, state, and federal regulations as they pertain to the operation of a long-term facility.
