MultiTech is currently seeking a Regional Sales Manager. The Regional Sales Manager will work with customers to resolve complex software issues that have been escalated, while delivering high quality solutions through professional level of communication and advanced troubleshooting skills.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop, manage and grow M2M/IoT business in assigned territory.
  • Travel extensively throughout assigned region meeting with prospects, customers, channel partners, carriers etc.
  • Establish and implement a regional sales plan consistent with corporate goals and objectives.
  • Keep all customers, prospects and channels aware of new product development
  • Expand and maintain contact with and influence eco-system partners (carriers, service providers, etc) through territory visits, joint customer calls, trainings, opportunity generation, and development of strategic plan.
  • Work closely with management to ensure company goals and objectives are being met within the assigned territory.
  • Stay current on Multi-Tech's product/solution offerings and the M2M industry to remain relevant to our customers.
  • Tailor the value proposition of each product/solution to the assigned accounts to show value in helping customers meet the objectives in their industry.
  • Perform required administrative and communication tasks; generate sales reports as required.


QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • 4 year degree in Engineering or in related field and/or 5-7 years equivalent sales experience in M2M industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in direct sales with a successful track record in meeting quota; including working through channel and/or distribution partners.
  • Demonstrated experience in setting account strategy and direction in a high technical environment.
  • Strong effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Possess strong presentation skills.
  • Service and results oriented with a strong desire to support customers
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and track many activities.
  • Ability to analyze data from various sources to track and maintain awareness of trend occurring in assigned sales territory.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work well with others and independently.
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time to customers, partners, and trade shows/conferences to build relationship, network, and to promote the services and/or products of MultiTech.
