Job Purpose

In this role you will complete refrigerant recoveries at job site locations, which may vary from the belly of an aircraft carrier to the penthouse of the highest building in town - you'll work wherever refrigerant is found. Recover the smallest drinking fountain to the largest ice builder; you'll constantly see, learn, and work on a huge variety of equipment.

This role helps territories in the region meet their goals by assisting at job sites as needed and filling vacancies through acting as a temporary service technician or business development leader. In this role, you are a subject matter expert on recoveries and will be able to assist the territories in training and re-training as necessary to ensure overall safety and compliance.

Primary Place of Work

This role will support the California region and can be located at the home office or near anyone of our territories.

Key Responsibilities

  • Travel to network locations across the region to provide support to the territory and/or recovery jobs during a vacancy or as needed to complete a job.
  • Fulfill the role of Trainer and complete the onboarding training process for new hires.
  • Work with local teams to establish and build their local territories through being the Subject Matter Expert on recoveries and assisting in training and re-training as necessary.
  • May assist or act as the Business Development Leader through visiting current customers and provide them excellent customer service through attentive, high-quality regular interactions.
  • Act as a Field Service Technician through the ability to recover cylinders, provide customers additional refrigerant, and help with upcoming projects.
  • Effectively present and discuss the full suite of Rapid Recovery products and services; including service, gas buy-back, and refrigerant spot buy sales.
  • Help expand the territory by sharing recent recovery project success stories with prospects nearby.
  • Complete Field Location Trip summaries as needed to ensure consistency in recovery processes and drive improvement, as well as, enhance market efficiencies.
  • Adhere to EPA and safety regulations.
  • Ensure that all data is entered into the company job order and sales system.
  • Other duties as reasonably assigned.

Experience, Knowledge, and Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required
  • Natural mechanical ability
  • Good communication skills
  • Enjoy interacting with people
  • Excellent computer, internet, and data entry skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to secure a CDL-C/Hazmat
  • Ability to complete training and pass EPA testing
  • Must be 25 years of age or older with a clean driving record
  • This is a high travel position and must be able to travel 50% to 75%
  • Must be able to lift at least 75# and bend, stoop
  • Must be able to work flexible hours
