Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) Job at United Dental Group
Essential Duties:
- Welcomes patients to our clinics
- Sets up, cleans, sterilizes, and maintains dental instruments and equipment
- Assists the dental provider through 4-handed dentistry
- Provides chairside assistance
- Performs digital x-rays
- Records patient visits, transactions, and other duties, utilizing EMR (Electronic Medical Record) and other software
- Assists patients with questions, including scheduling, helping them complete forms
- Coordinates patient registration, payment, and billing
Education:
- Completion of a Dental Assisting Program (which includes 8 hours in infection control, course in the Dental Practice Act, Radiation Safety)
License / Certification:
- Radiology Certificate
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS), accredited by AHA (American Heart Association)
- Registered Dental Assistant (RDA), optional
Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour
