International Health Solutions, Inc. is looking to hire a compassionate and thorough Per diem Registered Nurses (RN) for our VNA. $2,500 Sign-On Bonus included!!! We are an established home care agency with a continuously growing client base. This position is ideal for Nurses who are looking for a flexible schedule, those looking to supplement a current position, or those looking for a new full time role!

Your client load if you become a per diem nurse is fully dependent on how many clients you decide to accept and the areas you are willing to travel to. If you are looking to be a full time Nurse this opportunity is also available and would have a productivity rate attached to a salary that would be determined upon the offering of the position. We have positions for weekday and weekend visits available as per diem You can accept as many clients as your schedule allows!

We will train the right candidate upon hire.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Obtaining a medical history, particularly as it relates to the present condition, from the client and/or family member(s)
• Conducting a physical examination of the client, including vital signs, physical assessment, mental status, appetite and type of diet, etc.
• Evaluating the client’s condition and home situation to determine what assistance will be available from family members in caring for the client and what health teaching will be required
• Developing and implementing the nursing care plan
• Nursing services, treatments and preventative procedures requiring substantial specialized drill and ordered by the physician
• Initiating preventative and rehabilitative nursing procedures as appropriate for the client’s care and safety
• Observing signs and symptoms and reporting to the physician reactions to treatments, including drugs, and changes in the clients physical or emotional condition

Qualifications:

• Licensed Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Massachusetts.
• Ability to work well independently with limited supervision.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work closely with families.
