The Arc of Ocean County is seeking a Registered Nurse to support our Clinical Services Department with assisting Individuals with Disabilities throughout Ocean County. This position can be Full or Part time depending on the needs of the candidates availability. The candidate will be a Licensed Medical Professional for the agency and may be assigned to work in more than one program or location, inclusive on on-site visits to area hospitals and nursing facilities when residents are receiving in-patient care.
Location: Brick, Ocean County
Schedule: Wed-Fri 9-5, Availability to be Full-Time if desired
Pay: $40.00 per hour, Bi-Weekly Pay Schedule, Paid Holidays
Description
As an agency RN, the successful candidate will provide complete physical assessments of the individuals we support. They will also be responsible for providing medication and health care education to all required staff. The agency RN is responsible for completing specialty trainings, reviewing client medical records for compliance, and completing medical record assessments for agency audits. The agency RN will also develop and monitor the care plan for individuals we support and will update each plan as needed. They will ensure the overall health and safety of the residents and environment in which they reside.
This position requires at least one year of experience working with Individuals with Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- One year of experience working with individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilites
- Must have a Valid NJ Driver’s License with no more than five points
- One year of Medical or Surgical Experience
- Experience managing medical case loads and monitoring outcomes
- All employees are required to be fully vaccinated and up to date with vaccine status
Education: Proof of current licensure from the NJ Board of Nursing will be required; BSN in psychology or related field is preferred.
