Registered Nurse - OR Job at myRN Staffing Solutions
myRNStaffing Solutions is assisting our client to hire a hardworking, compassionate and caring Registered Nurse. This job is a 3-month travel assignment working days in the Operating Room, 4 0 hr/w, 7a-5:30p, NO WE/Hol/On call ! The ideal OR nurse will be quick-thinking and have graduated from an accredited nursing program.
Responsibilities of the OR Registered Nurse
Assessing patients prior to surgery and alleviating their concerns
Gathering all supplies needed for the operation
Assuming responsibility of keeping the operating room sterilized
Pass medical instruments or other objects to the surgeon during operation
Monitor patient s vital signs to detect anomalies
Evaluate patient in postoperative phases
Adhere to safety standards and precautions
Assume duties within or out of the sterile field as assigned
Requirements of the OR Registered Nurse
Prefer a nurse with 2 years experience, but all interested nurses are encouraged to apply
Valid Michigan RN License.
Degree from RN Accredited College
Provide a quality customer service focus and an enthusiastic attitude
Compensation of the Registered Nurse
Salary: $66 - $71 per hour, based on experience, benefit level and traveler status.*
