Thank you for your interest in the Registered Nurse position with the Mental Health Center of North Central Alabama. The primary work location for this position is Morgan County, Alabama. We are a family concentric organization and work with our employees to have the best possible work environment. This position is part of a three person team seeing clients in their home.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Provides direct clinical service. Schedule and deliver client appointments for medication monitoring; administer/dispense medication; follow up on failed appointments; completes clinical recording in a timely manner.

• Participates in ACT and represents 1 FTE as LPN/RN, monitoring, medication administration /dispensing medication for ACT clients. Participates in ACT staffing 2 times weekly, on call 24/7 for ACT clients, serves clients at location needed. This position represents the .5 FTE LPN/RN position of the following team requirements: part-time psychiatrist, .5 FTE RN or LPN, 1 FTE Case Manager, and .5 FTE Master’s, Nurse or Case Manager.

· Participates in the team effort of the organization to make continuous improvements and focus on customer/client satisfaction. Staff cases with other staff members and serves as a backup when necessary.

· Participates in insuring quality service. Work is completed in accordance with the DMH/MR Standards. Participates in Peer Review, improvement teams, and attends required training programs.

· Participates in on call 24/7 for residential clients.

· Oversee Nurse Delegation Act to ensure compliance with related regulations, policy and procedures and standards. Provide educational and instructional required training for MAC workers. Assist in monitoring and tracking of requirements. Responsible for supervision of delegation of medication assistance to unlicensed personnel.

• Meet required productivity expectations.
