What you'll be doing:

The Registered Nurse delivers quality nursing care to patients through interpersonal contact.

Additional tasks include:

• Observing and recording patient behavior
• Performing physical examinations and diagnostic tests
• Collecting patient health history
• Counseling and educating patients and their families on treatment plans
• Administering medication, changing wound dressings, and care for other treatment options
• Reading and interpreting patient information, making treatment decisions when appropriate
• Consulting with supervisors and doctors to decide on the best treatment plan for patients
• Directing and supervising nurses, nurse assistants, and nurse aides

The ideal candidate will have:

• Nursing diploma (associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree in nursing)
• An active Registered Nurse License held in an applicable State
• One (1) year of geriatric nursing experience (preferred but not required)
• CPR certification. We can assist you with obtaining one if you don't have a current CPR Cert.
