• Seeking IV Home Infusion Registered Nurse

Who We Are:

AVAILABILITY Professional Staffing, is staffing agency for home infusions in various states across the U.S. We work with specialty pharmacies who contact us with a patient. We then staff the registered nurse closest to the patient. The pharmacies call for a wide variety of needs, from IVIG, antibiotics, or to a simple teach visit for a prefilled med syringe. The registered nurse schedules the visit with the patient, and then notifies us when they are going out. If it is an ongoing patient that is seen every 4 weeks, then you would set up the next visit with them, when they are due again. We pay hourly and mileage. WE DO REQUIRE YOU BE A REGISTERED NURSE OR FNP WITH STRONG IV SKILLS.

Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse:

• Care for the individual based on personalized Plan of Care Informs the Director of Nursing and any other appropriate personnel of changes in the client’s conditions and needs.
• Counsel's client and family through care process while updating family on a regular basis.
• Assures proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
• Participates in agency performance improvement activities and continuously staying informed about changes in the field of nursing and home health care.

Requirements of the Registered Nurse:

• Current unrestricted Registered Nursing license.
• Minimum one (1) year of documented experience required. Minimum (1) year experience in IV related background.
• Infusion/IV experience and port access experience required.
• Reliable car/auto insurance.
• Background Check.
• Clean Drug Screen.
• Understands regulatory compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Adhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality.

Position Summary: As a Registered Nurse (RN), Home Infusion you will work outside the walls of a hospital setting in a growing specialized area of the nursing field. If you are spending 12 hours on your feet or rushing from patient to patient with no time to provide quality patient care, this would be the perfect opportunity to change your work environment. Our nurses have the time and a balanced schedule to build strong one-on-one relationships with patients and their families.

As a Home Infusion Registered Nurse you will...
- Provide a broad range of infusion therapies in our patients' homes.
- Make a difference by using your clinical IV experience and personal touch to assist our patients recover in the comfort of their own home.
- Provide one-on-one home infusion nursing care visits and patient education in accordance with the physician's plan of treatment.
- Additional licensure may be required in multi-state service areas.
- Use excellent written and verbal customer service skills in order to interact with the patient, physician, pharmacist and other partners.
- Challenge your clinical nursing (RN) skills by receiving continuous training on leading edge technology and clinical requirements in specialty infusion.

Job Types: Part-time, PRN

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
