Windom Area Health (WAH) is an 18-bed Critical Access Hospital located in Windom, MN. The hospital serves Windom, Mt. Lake and the surrounding areas. Windom Area Health provides specialty outreach services on a regular basis including cardiology, podiatry, general surgery, orthopedics, ophthalmology, pulmonology, urology and occupational/speech/physical therapies. Emergency room, laboratory and imaging services are also available 24 hours a day. A fitness center and group exercise classes are also available to the community members.
Windom Area Health is committed to offering obstetrics services, which many rural hospitals are no longer providing due to volume and cost associated. Approximately 100 babies a year are born here!
Our mission is “Dedicated to Health”, which directs our decision making and services on a daily basis. We have a management agreement with Sanford Health and are owned by the City of Windom.
Job Details:
Windom Area Health seeks a .9 FTE RN/Outpatient Nurse. This position will perform chemotherapy, injections, IV infusions and work on the expansion of the telemedicine program. Individual must have some flexibility in work hours to meet the needs of outpatients. Position includes working 12 hr shifts every third weekend and holiday.
$5,000 Sign on bonus with a two year commitment ($2,000 paid at hire, $1,000 at 12 months, and $2,000 at 24 months with no pay back)

Pay: $34.94 - $47.19 per hour
