The Remote Inside Sales Representative, Community Outreach is a strategic part of the Marketing and Community Outreach team, which is highly involved with establishing care for new patients. Calls will be over the phone to educate on the unique benefits of becoming a patient at Village MD. This is an excellent career opportunity for ambitious entry level professionals to learn patient outreach in a fast-paced value-based care healthcare environment. We are growing rapidly, and it is an exciting time to join!

How you can make a difference:

  • Make outbound calls to prospective patients whom we have met at community events or have responded to marketing activities in the past to educate them on the benefits of becoming a Village Medical patients
  • Manage a smaller percentage of inbound calls from prospects who are interested in becoming new patients at Village Medical
  • Inform and articulate the unique benefits and value of making Village Medical a primary health care provider
  • Managing a pipeline of prospective patients, logging current call activity, scheduling tours, inviting prospective to community events, and making sure you are following up with multiple touch points

  • You have high emotional intelligence, the ability to forge meaningful relationships, and can successfully navigate diverse stakeholder groups
  • You are highly collaborative, yet skilled at influencing others to achieve results
  • Experience performing under pressure with a strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, and a commitment to doing what you say you will do
  • You are solution-oriented and have a passion for being hands-on in problem-solving and execution
  • You are self-starting and maintain a high sense of urgency and accountability in delivering measurable results in line with agreed upon timeframes
  • You are comfortable working in a commission-based environment where your monthly commissions are based on your monthly success.
  • You have the EPIC Personality – Empathy, Patience, Integrity, and Compassion

Experience to drive change:

  • Strong skills in relationship building in effort to engage warm leads over the phone.
  • Strong customer service and sales skills
  • 1 year phone sales experience preferred but not required
  • High school diploma required
  • Proficient PC skills
  • Experience in health care and/or health insurance preferred
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management CRM systems or an EMR preferred
  • Consumer sales experience or similar experience in community outreach function preferred
  • Comfort with ambiguity and ability to proactively structure work and problem solve independently
  • Enjoy working in a team atmosphere to drive development and a good working culture
  • Fluency in English is required. Fluency in Spanish preferred

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $17.50 to $18.50 + monthly commission. At VillageMD, compensation is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. This role may be eligible for incentives (if applicable), and the selected candidate will be eligible for a valuable company benefits plan, including health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, and access to a 401k plan with company match.
