Prologis is seeking a Research Analyst in our San Francisco, California office. You will be part of a dynamic global research team that partners with multiple groups within Prologis to move the company forward. On the Research team, everyone brings a unique perspective, and backgrounds that range from economics to urban planning to computer science allow us to leverage each individual’s knowledge and skills for a team that is greater than the sum of its parts.
Ultimately, we are looking for a team-centric individual with a passion for problem solving and knowledge building. That person will need solid organizational, analytical and communications skills they can deploy in a range of assignments, in order to collaborate effectively, generate and test new ideas, and maximize the team’s positive impact on business outcomes.
How you will contribute:
  • Analyze internal and third-party data to create proprietary insights
  • Assist with tracking historical trends and developing forecasts for key drivers of real estate performance: rents, cap rates, occupancy, economic and demographic forces, customer and investor trends, and risk factors
  • Develop logistics real estate knowledge across Prologis geographies and contribute to team insight generation
  • Help develop and execute major presentations and white papers, investment strategy recommendations, predictive analytics, and process improvements
Key qualifications:
  • Strong intellectual curiosity and desire to problem solve
  • Ability to embrace change and adapt to evolving business needs
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational, analytical and communication skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics or a related field (or applicable work experience)
  • 1-2 years of experience preferably in Real Estate, Economics, Finance or Data Analytics
  • Econometric modeling and/or programming experience (Python, R, SQL) is a plus
Hiring Salary Range of: $84,000-$102,000. Salary and whole compensation package (bonus target) to be determined by the candidate’s locations, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
