RESEARCH ASSISTANT, School of Public Health, Environmental Health Job at Boston University

Reporting directly to Dr. Wellenius, the research assistant will work with faculty, students, and staff affiliated with the BUSPH Center for Climate and Health to assist with obtaining, managing, processing, and analyzing geospatial data. Example projects can include: creating visualizations highlighting the distribution of urban heat island, air pollution levels, tree canopy, health metrics, or sociodemographic variables across cities; ingesting and curating existing publicly available spatial datasets; and assisting others with publication quality visualizations. The incumbent will work in either Google Earth Engine or ArcGIS (or similar) to accomplish these goals.


Required Skills


Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred
1-3 years of experience
