Position Summary
The LSUHSC Stanley S. Scott Cancer Center is seeking a part-time Research Associate 1 (RA1) to assist with and conduct laboratory experiments on the research project "A Mechanistic Study to elucidate the role of Protein S in elevating the risk of Thrombosis in Obese, Pre-menopausal women”. The RA1 will work within well-defined guidelines; keep abreast of current publications relative to methods, techniques, and developments within the area of research; collect, prepare, and analyze specimen (blood) obtained from patients at various clinics throughout the New Orleans area; evaluate and input results; and maintain a database.
