The Residency Program Coordinator oversees the administration and scheduling of physician residents in a medical environment. Ensures that the activities of the physician residents meet the needs for training and accreditation. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others.

Education:

  • Minimum of high school diploma or its equivalent (GED); Associate’s degree prefer but not required.

Experience:

  • Minimum of [3] years’ experience in a healthcare setting preferred with at least [3] years’ experience in a relevant operational or department support role preferred.

General Responsibilities:

  • Essential functions include but are not limited to maintaining and reporting data, communicating with providers and leadership of hospital and clinics, arranging and participating in recruitment site visits and networking events as needed, delivery of collateral or other materials as directed by manager, maintaining and organizing corporate reports as necessary, coordinating meetings and calls as directed by departments, maintain records as necessary for both departments and share where directed, maintain appropriate confidentiality in all job functions.

  • Team Member is accountable for areas of responsibility meeting regulatory requirements including but not limited to maintaining annual TB testing, completing annual mandatories (ALC and competency), and maintaining current registration/certification/licensures as appropriate to position requirements.
