We are currently looking for experienced Resident Assistants or an individuals that have their CNA. A CNA is not required if you have experience with being a Resident Assistant.

JOB SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for providing personal care and designated health-related services designed to maintain the resident’s physical and emotional well-being.t.

AM Shift: 6:00am-2:30pm

PM Shift: 2pm-10:30pm

NOC Shift: 10pm-6:30am

FT- 32-40 hours a week

PT- 8-24 hours a week

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Assist with daily tasks including: bathing, eating, dressing, grooming and any other activities of daily living as delegated by the Nurses per the individualized care plans

· Build rapport with residents by establishing connections and being genuinely interested in their lives

· Maintain care records that follow The Classic’s policies

· Documents and reports changes in physical and emotional condition

· Completes scheduled cleaning tasks

· Lead and assist resident activities as assigned

· Promotes independence with residents, offering choices and fostering self-help skills

· Responds appropriately to safety hazards, fire drills and other emergency situations

· Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous Resident Assistant work experience or training
• CNA is a plus
• Good steward of time and resources
• Able to communicate effectively including written and verbal skills
• Able to work well both individually and as part of a team through respect, collaboration and dedication
• Able to prioritize and organize work effectively and efficiently
• Must be flexible and adaptable to changing situations including able to work irregular hours, attend meetings and special events
