Job Summary

To assist servers in maintenance throughout the meal. Ensure that the dining room always looks as clean and polished as possible. Maintaining dish and glassware throughout the dining room during service.

Responsibilities & Essential Job Functions:

  • Approach all guest interactions with genuine warmth and hospitality
  • Clear plates in the proscribes manner from table between courses
  • Reset Tables between guests with service standard settings
  • Maintain water levels throughout the meal
  • Collect dirty dishware throughout the dining room, brining to the scraping area
  • Once clean, polish all dishware, silverware and glassware before dispersing throughout the dining room
  • Communicate guests needs to the server in charge of the table or the kitchen, as appropriate
  • Perform side work as detailed in the busser manual
  • Other duties as may be required

Required Experience, Skills and Abilities:

  • A minimum of 6 months experience in a fine dining and/ or high volume restaurant as a front of house service position
  • Must be able to have basic and professional English communication with team members and guests
  • Must be polished , professional and punctual
  • Must have a service-orientated mind set and hospitable disposition
  • Capable of lifting/ carrying 40 pounds or more
  • Must be able and willing to stand/ walk for 8+ hours
  • Strong preference for candidates who are knowledgeable , enthusiastic, and passionate about food and wine
