ROLE OVERVIEW

Responsible for the overall operations of the restaurant. Develop and mentor team and ensure a positive dining experience for guests. Maximizing sales, profit goals and P&Ls. Maintaining QSC standards and ensuring protection of concepts branding and assets.


KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Demonstrate leadership skills, including coaching, directing, and motivating a team
  • Ensure excellent guest service that meets or exceeds expectations
  • Ensure that the restaurant is adequately staffed to meet guest needs
  • Schedule and receive food and beverage deliveries, checking delivery contents to verify product quality and quantity
  • Operate the business in accordance with the company policies and applicable laws
  • Interview, hire, and schedule training of employees
  • Manage all shifts, which include daily decision-making, staff support, scheduling and planning while upholding standards, product quality and cleanliness
  • Maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • Enforce safe work behaviors to maintain a safe environment for both guests and crew members
  • Monitor daily activities to ensure quality food and cleanliness standards
  • Knowledge of P&L and sales building
  • Meet the restaurant's P&L and expense goals
  • Maintain professional behavior while creating a warm, fun, friendly, and hospitable atmosphere
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, sit and stoop. Must be able to lift or reach arms over head or below waist. Must be able to hold or carry items weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted. Must be able to see, hear and speak with or without accommodation.


ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to work in well-lit or dimly lit areas. Must be able to work in moderately to extremely noisy areas. Must be able to work in various temperature settings or areas, such as temperature-controlled walk-in freezers, indoor areas exposed to outdoor weather conditions, or outdoor areas. Possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.


EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

High School graduate or equivalent preferred. Previous restaurant management experience required. Record of maintaining high standards in restaurant cleanliness, sanitation, food quality, and guest satisfaction.


PERSONALITY/OTHER

Must be confident, great communicator with the ability to communicate in English, as well as oral and written communication skills. Must have a sense of urgency and ability to prioritize quickly, efficiently and under pressure/deadlines. Must be able to work varied shifts to include days, nights, weekends and holidays. Must present well to others in a positive and professional manner both internally and externally. Must be 18 years of age or older. Must possess and maintain a valid Food Handlers Certificate. Obtain any required alcohol service licensing requirements in ordinance with state liquor laws.
