Restaurant Server AM Part Time Job at Tinley Park Convention Center
5am-11am, weekdays, weekends and holidays
Responsibilities:
- Warmly greet all guests
- Set, re-set and clean all tables/areas according to company standards
- Communicate effectively and efficiently with guests, managers and co-workers
- Solve and recover guest issues/concerns immediately when able, report to manager asap
- Correctly take food orders, upsell whenever possible, accurately enter into POS systems
- Serve prepared food as rapidly and efficiently as possible, while remaining courteous and polite to the guests
- Remain attentive to guest needs and requests throughout service
- Process payments accurately and according to established standards
- Polish glass, silverware, fold napkins, complete side work as assigned
- Be knowledge-full of the menu
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent
- ServSafe (preferred)
- 1+ years serving experience (preferred)
- Must be able to stand for 5+ hours/shift.
- Must be able to adjust work pace to business demand.
- Must have basic math and computer skills.
- Must be able to carry, lift and move at least 25lbs
- Must maintain pleasant demeanor at all times
- Great customer service
