The Store Manager has overall responsibility for the smooth operation of the store, maintaining employee relations, and delivering excellent customer service for each brand. WORK SCHEDULE: 5-6 days per week and at least 9 hours per day, depending on the needs of the business.

 Work area include food, knives, slippery floors, and extreme cold

EXPERIENCE: Minimum 3-year retail or food service supervision experience and/or high performance as an Associate or Assistant Manager in a single branded TOGI Brands, LLC location.

RESPONSIBILITIES: General Operations

 Report to supervisor the status of store operations. Ongoing reporting should include, but not be limited to, the following information

 Competition in local market  Personnel problems  Quality of supplies and suppliers  Changes in sales patterns  Operational problems  Generate all other necessary operational and financial reports  Adhere to company policies and specifications  Maintain employee records, tracking compensation and disciplinary issues  Produce the weekly work schedule  Retain copies of sign-in sheets, work schedules, daily register sheets, order forms, and baking lists  Place vendor and non-vendor inventory orders  Monitor and resolve inventory levels and issues with distributors  Maintain inventory sheets, vendor and staff phone numbers, order forms, and manuals  Schedule preventive maintenance for equipment  Locally market the store to potential customers  Know all functions of the store and be able to step in and perform any of the job duties  Keep the store's cleanliness and sanitation at or above standards set by the company and the local health department  Maintain safety and security of employees, customers, and store  Ensure compliance with all state and federal health regulations

Staff Management  Properly select employees by screening, interviewing, and checking references  Supervise all employees in every phase of product preparation and customer service, including product portioning, packaging, and cleaning  Monitor opening and closing duties of staff  Monitor staff compliance to attire standards  Manage staff so absences are covered  Direct employees and delegate priorities among staff  Provide employee training according to company guidelines and cross-train employees so they are able to perform multiple functions  Hold staff meetings covering work-related issues  Evaluate the performance of each employee  Discipline and terminate employees as necessary  Motivate employees to achieve maximum effectiveness  Create and maintain a positive work environment  Assist employees by getting involved in daily operations and taking orders  Increase employee retention

Finances  Meet and exceed profit and loss goals  Increase sales over previous year  Keep labor costs and food costs in line with budget  Handle all monies and bank deposits in a safe and responsible manner  Handle payroll for all employees, count up all hours, create pay envelopes, and distribute pay to employees  Arrange bills, invoices, and checks to be signed  Determine amount of change and currency to be kept on premises  Drop cash at appointed times during shift  Perform voids, payouts, CODs as needed on register  Change register journal tape  Deal with cash, coupons, and promotional materials  Resolve credit card chargebacks  Close-out register at end of night, leaving appropriate morning bank

Customer Satisfaction  Maintain superior food quality  Ensure customers minimum transaction times  Provide customer service where required (e.g., receipts, order forms, etc., to customers)  Interact with customers by getting feedback, dealing with complaints, refunds, donation requests, etc.  Deal with difficult customer issues (e.g., homeless persons, abusive customers, etc.)  Deal with customer safety issues (e.g., snow, rain, beverage spills, etc.)  Exceed customer expectations

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS/TRAINING/CERTIFICATION:

 Experience working with P&L statements, budgets and cost controls  Basic personal computer (PC) and on-line Internet usage knowledge  Experience in handling applicable government agencies  Certified by National Restaurant Association (NRA) or local health department in food handling  Successful completion of the TOGI Brands, LLC Basics of Operations training program  Ability to read company materials  Ability to write letters and complete order forms and on-line ordering system(s)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

 Bend, stoop, and reach to receive inventory, stock, serve customers, and clean store  Carry up to 50 lbs.  Stand and walk on a hard surface for 10 to 12 hours per day  Quickly identify safety placards and hazardous situations to avoid or minimize injuries  Identify food quality through taste, texture, color, and odor  Use small tools that require good manual dexterity  Tolerate up to 45 minutes in walk-in cooler at temperatures as low as 32 degrees F during inventory  Tolerate up to 35 minutes in walk-in freezer at -10 degrees F for inventory and stocking

Pay: $45,000.00 - $56,000.00 per year
