Delvaux is seeking a Retail Operations Manager for North America (US & Canada)
Job purpose
Act as a key member of the regional HQ, supporting retail operations, merchandising and logistics matters, ensuring commercial and retail operations run smoothly and efficiently and helping to drive and maximize sales in the region. The role is accountable to work directly with Belgium and Local Retail Teams to drive the business of all stores Delvaux North America including US and Canada.
General
- Provide information and product support to the local HQ functions and Retail/Store Managers. Update daily on sales progress, assist with sales forecasts and preparation of reports.
- SAP expert and “go to person” for all retail: drive new SAP functions roll-out to US market; run retail key user tests and conduct operations training
- Manage the local logistics needs of product receipts; transfers; RTVs, etc.
- Regularly report and complete ad-hoc analysis of the network performance: reports and analysis of KPI's per store.
- Organize and maintain implementation of standard processes for store openings in coordination with Brand CEO North America
- Liaise with all supporting departments to facilitate needs of the boutique(s)
- You interact with the sales force and retailers to understand needs and requirements. You work closely with key functional areas (marketing, logistics, etc.) to communicate sales opportunities, requirements, and coordinate activities to support the retail sales function.
Merchandising & Training:
- Provide training materials seasonally for VM standards and product launches
- Provide input on product assortment, buying trends and customer requests
- Report on the developments of major competitors in each market
- Travel to the Retail boutiques seasonally for training seminars based on needs
- Assist with Retail inventory management and analysis
Operations:
- Process orders, including reorders & special requests, working with customer service to see all units are allocated and invoiced.
- Work with each door to coordinate reception of merchandise - manage POs, discrepancies, transfers, answer all system-related queries
- Weekly analysis on sales in (deliveries) and sales out by door
- Assist Finance Dept with invoice, debit and credit note queries
- Track spending on marketing and operating expenses vs the Budget
- Support sales associates with After Sales Service issues, ie return, defective merchandise, repairs
The position will report to Brand CEO, North America

Personal & Professional Requirements
- 3-4 years retail operations experience, retailing of luxury goods related industry preferred
- previous experience in allocation and planning is an advantage
- Exhibit a professional communication style both verbal and written, excellent organizational skills and presentation skills
- Good knowledge of SAP is necessary
- Detail oriented
- Capable to work independently and a Team Player
- Strong problem-solving skill
- Attentive to details
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
- Proficient in Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint,
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or related field preferred

Expected Salary Range: $85,600.00 to $100,000
Salary will be negotiated based on relevant skills and experience.
