Retail Sales Associate (part-time) Job at The Northwest Man
Join our hardworking team at our busy, well established retail location in downtown Port Townsend. We are looking for a friendly part-time associate who will help boost sales through exceptional customer service and strong work ethics.
Responsibilities include customer service, sales, cash handling, receiving, stocking, and light cleaning. Candidates must be reliable, flexible, possess basic math skills and legible handwriting.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Punctual/Dependable
- Clean and Organized
- Good Communicator and Listener
- Work independently
- Multi-task
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Change making skills; cash register experience a plus
- Detail oriented
- Social Media experience a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Occasionally lift/move/carry up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to remain on your feet through your entire shift (up to 8 hours)
- Routinely reach, lift, squat, bend, climb
- Ability to move products from high/low shelves, racks, and boxes
- Routinely steam, fold and display clothing
