Job Summary
The Revenue Recovery Analyst is responsible for: analyzing and monitoring revenue cycle data from multiple sources to optimize recovery and assess managed care contracts, government, commercial and non-contracted payment performance/compliance. Identifying opportunities and supporting efforts related to standardized reporting, benchmarking, and process improvement.

The ideal Revenue Recovery Analyst candidate:

  • Is a systems thinker that translates user requirements into elegant solutions that fit into the overall company and department objectives.
  • Is a simplifier that can communicate the complex in a simple, easy-to-understand manner using a visually appealing design.
  • Is a collaborator that enjoys working in an agile team with other individuals across the entire company and external stakeholders.
What you will do in this role
  • Creates and maintains the process of standardization and consolidation of monitoring payment data for compliance with existing managed care agreements, modeling for future agreements, trending of government, non-contracted and all other payment sources
  • Analyze internal processes and system functionality to determine and communicate corrective action/process improvement (ex: appeals/appeal process)
  • Assist in implementation of processes to ensure timely resolution of issues and maintains such
  • Perform special projects as assigned by department management
  • Stay abreast of existing and future government payer regulations, managed care contract terms and regulations, industry regulations and all other conditions that may affect payment rates/trends. Consistently reviews with management
  • Create an environment of continuous process improvement
  • Demonstrate initiative and strong attention to detail
What qualifications you will need
  • BA/BS in a relevant subject such as business or healthcare or equivalent and relevant combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in healthcare and revenue cycle management preferred
