Job Summary
The
Revenue Recovery Analyst is responsible for: analyzing and monitoring revenue cycle data from multiple sources to optimize recovery and assess managed care contracts, government, commercial and non-contracted payment performance/compliance. Identifying opportunities and supporting efforts related to standardized reporting, benchmarking, and process improvement.

What you will do in this role
- Creates and maintains the process of standardization and consolidation of monitoring payment data for compliance with existing managed care agreements, modeling for future agreements, trending of government, non-contracted and all other payment sources
- Analyze internal processes and system functionality to determine and communicate corrective action/process improvement (ex: appeals/appeal process)
- Assist in implementation of processes to ensure timely resolution of issues and maintains such
- Perform special projects as assigned by department management
- Stay abreast of existing and future government payer regulations, managed care contract terms and regulations, industry regulations and all other conditions that may affect payment rates/trends. Consistently reviews with management
- Create an environment of continuous process improvement
- Demonstrate initiative and strong attention to detail
What qualifications you will need
- BA/BS in a relevant subject such as business or healthcare or equivalent and relevant combination of education and experience.
- Experience in healthcare and revenue cycle management preferred
