Rigger Foreman Job at McDermott
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for supervising project work operations via deck crew
- Supervise the daily tasks of the rigging crew
- Responsible for refusing unsafe work and for carrying out all work in accordance with the established HSES Safety standards and Work practices
- Ensure that all activities are undertaken in accordance with all safety and quality requirements
- Organize and distribute above deck activities for Rigging Crews
- Continuously monitor rigging equipment being used and remove from service any found defective
- Ensure only trained personnel from Rigging Department use machinery and equipment
- Ensure all relevant safety procedures are adhered to with regard to rigging works undertaken by way of TRAs/Permits
- Following all company policies and procedures, and ensuring subordinates do the same.
Essential Qualifications and Education:
- High school graduate
- Minimum 4 years experience in offshore construction industry, with a minimum of 2 years as a Rigger Leaderman
- Previous experience as Rigger Leaderman/Rigger
