Halff Associates has an immediate opening for a
Right of Way Agent in our
San Antonio, TX office.
Right of Way Agent
Responsibilities:
- Project Management duties including setting and monitoring row acquisition schedules for active right of way projects.
- Assist and train lesser experienced agents with questions regarding title issues, property owner concerns
- Review appraisal reports and answer property owner questions concerning the methodology of establishing value.
- Assist other lesser experienced agents in preparation and assembling of offer packages, counteroffer packets, conveyance documents, and any documents necessary to clear title.
- Assist and prepare ROW proposals and Fee schedules for projects.
- Assist and train other lesser experienced agents with relocation benefits and eligibility in compliance with the Uniform Relocation Assistant Act with those individuals that qualify
- Assist with moving arrangements, analyze inventory and identify and resolve personal property issues as well as coordinate and review move estimates
- Request reviews and approvals for the submission of relocation claims and maintain files
- Assist and train other lesser experienced agents in preparation of eminent domain packages for submittal to acquiring agency Condemnation coordination and support.
- Assist and coordinate with staff and Demo contractor(s) on removal and disposal of improvements if required
Right of Way Agent
Requirements:
- minimum of 3 years of experience working in Right of Way
- Texas Real Estate License preferred but not required
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required
