Gorham House is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse(RN) to fill the role of Assistant Director of Nursing. Gorham House is a senior living community that provides a resident-centered approach to accommodate varying levels of care according to an individual's changing needs. Gorham House offers a warm and inviting work environment.
The Assistant Director of Nursing is responsible for the educational needs of our nursing staff; providing ongoing staff development. The ADON works in collaboration with the Director of Nursing to oversee the Nursing staff and ensure that care is delivered in accordance to Federal and State guidelines and meets the needs of our residents.
The right candidate for this role will have:
- Current RN license in the State of Maine
- Strong Organizational skills
- Good written and oral communciation skills
- Long term care experience
- Supervisory and leadership experience
