About this position:
The Travel RN is defined as working multiple units at multiple hospital entities. This may include Northwest Health La Porte Hospital, Northwest Health Porter Hospital and Northwest Health Starke Hospital.
Reports to the Director - Provides professional nursing services. Assesses the needs of patients and initiates, implements and evaluates individualized plans of care. Collaborates with other professional, clinical and ancillary staff in providing quality care to patients.
Shifts are generally scheduled as 8, 10 or 12 consecutive hours. Assignment coverage from 1 week to 12 weeks. Duration of schedule and location subject to change.
Education and Experience
- Prior experience in Telemetry / IMCU preferred.
- 1 year hospital experience required.
- ASN required. BSN preferred.
- BLS & ACLS to be maintained in this position.
- Basic EKG.
