RN/LPN - skilled nursing, 2nd shift, 32hr/week Job at Christian Living Services
The Raybrook Campus of Holland Home has a long-standing reputation for providing high quality care and it is well-earned with excellent state survey results! Location is everything as it is nestled back off the intersection of the Beltline and Burton Street on 35 serene acres of beautifully landscaped grounds. Holland Home has committed to $18 million in renovations over the next 5 years to bring top of the line accommodations to our Residents who deserve nothing less than our best. The 3rd floor of the Raybrook Skilled Nursing Facility has a capacity of 50 residents, some receiving long term care and others, rehab services. Staffing ratios are envied by our competitors with 3 nurses and 7-8 Aides on 1stand 2ndshift; on 3rdshift, we have 2 nurses and 3-4 Aides for the unit.
The RN/LPN Floor Nurse provides nursing care for assigned residents. Working within the scope of the RN/LPN license, duties include administering meds, changing dressings, performing catheterization, taking and recording vital signs, performing treatments as prescribed by the physician or as warranted by resident's condition, etc. This nurse also provides guidance and supervision to CNA's.
Qualified candidates will have RN/LPN licensure in the State of Michigan and CPR certification. Prior nursing experience with geriatrics is highly valued but not necessary as there is a lot of support from the other nurses on this unit.
